Hp photosmart 1215 printer

I get an error message that says color cartridge is missing. This occured after I filled it myself. I have deleted the printer and reinstalled it and the driver and still get the error message.

Remove the cartridsge and carefully polish the contact strip on the cartridge an in the cartridge chamber. Then come back with the result.

HP Photosmart C4580 Print cartridge(s) missing or not detected

This error message usually happen if the cartridge is not properly seated or the copper-colored electrical contacts have problem. Check this website for proper cleaning and installing ink cartridge.
If the problem is resolve try replacing the ink cartridges.

I've received the error message: "Printer

Mostly, printer cartridge error occurs when the printer head is unable to identify the cartridge properly. And the basic reason behind this is that the cartridge is improperly attached. To reattach the cartridge, turn on the lid of the printer and then remove the cartridge from the printer head. Check the cartridge to make sure that there are no scratches or other damaged parts that can contribute to a printer cartridge error report. Take note that the cartridge should not be left open for more than 30 minutes; otherwise the ink will start to dry up and the cartridge will get clogged.

Error message on printer:

Unplug from the wall, press power button three times, plug back in. After trying all other solutions, this one worked.

Is this a Hp cartridge or a cheaper brand?
I got this error myself too with cheaper cartridges.
You cal solvo this error by buying the original Hp cartridges

Replacing ink cartridge(s) in my HP Photosmart C4280 All-in-One

had the same problem
I just kept putting it in and taking it out until the msg stopped.
also sometimes when you see this msg you can push the ok button and the printer will go to correct mode.

1215 hp photosmart printer

I solved it! I bought a new Epson 3 in 1. Funny thing; I have a "FREE FER TAKEN" box just inside my shop, people come in all the time to check it. I put 3 HP ink jet printers in there almost a year ago and nobody wants them.
