Fully charged Lithium batteries dies out too quick and the USB cable does not work? Please help. thank you.

I fully charged both batteries, but it when I use it, it last only for 5 pictures, then dies. Is this the battery charger or is it the batteries? Also, my USB cable to connect to the computer does not work. It use to work, and I was able to upload my pics, but today, it stopped working. Is the wires inside the cable broken? or is it the constant unplugging caused the wire to be loose? Do I have to buy new USB wire and new batteries and battery charger? Please someone help me... thanks so much for your attention.

If the lithium batteries are of the AA shape then put them in a small torch and leave the torch on to fully run them down. If they are of an odd shape endeavor to do this with bulb wire and tape. Then try recharging them. If this fails- simply get a new set of batteries at first. Then come back

Zune white 30 gig. Im having problems with the charging. the battery life is too short and it dies quick. can you please let me know what's the problem?

Hi rasshatta357,

If the battery is fully charged and get low quickly after an operation, this is an indication that the battery itself is dying. You have to replaced it with new one to back in normal operation again.

Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!
Thanks for using Fixya.

My nextar will not turn on and it is straight out of the packaging. When the usb is plugged in, the two default songs are listed, and they are able to be played. Please help me with this issue, as I...

I think you have a new device and you wanted to use it at first and the battery wasn't charged.
The player has a built-in lithium-icon rechargeable battery. It is charged via USB connection. You
are required to charge it when you use it for the first time. It takes about 3 hours to fully charge the
battery. Connect the larger end of the USB cable to the USB interface of PC, and connect the
other smaller end of the USB cable to the USB interface of this player. The device is connected to
PC and being charged.
For maximum performance, lithium-ion batteries need to be used often. If you don't use
the device often, be sure to recharge the battery at least once per month.
I hope your item will work fine after the battery is charged.
Thanks.

I have purchased a new Dr Who sonic Screwdriver wii controller, unfortunately the instructions were thrown out with the packaging and i am having trouble charging it. I have it currently connected via usb...

Hi, Here is the relevant text as found in the instructions:"Plug the mini USB end of the supplied USB charge cable to the charge socket on the Sonic Screwdriver Remote Controller (SSRC) and other end [ their error, not mine -KP ] of the charge cable to the Wii console. A red LED charge indicator is on when charging. When the battery is fully charged, the red LED automatically turns off. Charge time is between 2 to 3 hours and a fully charged battery has between 6 to 12 hours of playtime.""The Wii Console must be ON for the SSRC to be able to recharge its battery. It will not recharge when the Wii Console is OFF or in Stand-by Mode."" Charging : LED lights up"" Full charge : LED goes out"Hope this works for you. Keith Pyne

How long do i need to charge the laptop for the first time when i bought it ACER AS5732zg

Laptop batteries are notorious for dying out and losing charge quickly. If you treat your battery with the utmost care, you'll have success in getting the most out of it. First make sure you charge your laptop battery properly when using it for the first time.

Most laptops today are equipped with Lithium Ion batteries. It's essential that you learn your model's specifications so you can follow the correct usage practices. This is the only way you'll be able to achieve maximum battery power.

The amount of time it takes for your battery to fully charge depends on many factors, like your battery type and operating system. Many newer laptops will charge in 15 to 20 minutes, while others can take a few hours. When you're charging your battery for the first time, charge it fully before using your laptop. You may have to go through a battery cycle a couple times before your battery begins performing at its maximum capability. To do this, charge your battery fully, let it discharge (through normal use) to about five percent, and then fully charge it again. I recently bought sansa e270 and i am facing problem that i could not charge when it is connectd to the pc. Its showing just connectd, but no symbol of charging. whats the problem, what should i do to...

Hi
Check the Manual
User’s Guide

Hay Don't worry it will work
Note: Some low-power USB ports may not be able to provide enough
charge power. Also note that rechargeable batteries may
eventually need to be replaced as they have limited charge
cycles (which vary with use and settings).

Li-ion Battery
The Sansa e200 MP3 player comes with a replaceable and rechargeable
lithium ion battery. To use the player for the very first time, remember to
fully charge the Li-ion battery. You can charge your Sansa through the USB
port of your computer, a car adapter (not included) USB port, or AC adapter
(not included) USB port.

Please execute the following instructions for charging the battery using
an USB port.
1) Connect the smaller end of the USB cable into an available USB
port on the computer
2) Connect the larger end of the USB cable into the dock connector of
the player
3) The computer must be on for most USB ports to charge your
battery. Your Sansa will show connected and the yellow charging
indicator will appear. The battery level indicator will blink while
charging. You will not be able to play while connected to the
computer USB.
4) To stop recharging, disconnect the cable.
The battery can also be charged using an AC adapter (not included) or
a car adapter (not included) and you will be able to play your device
while charging with one of the adapters. The battery will reach
approximately 70% charge in 2.5 hours and full charge in about 3.5
hours. It is recommended that you fully charge your Sansa e200
before the first use.

Bought my phone yesterday...Battery was losing charge quickly.. battery was down to half charge after about 15 minutes of fully charging.. Was trying to let the phone die completley then fully charge it,...

Ok first of all you should never let a phone die out of charge at all.IF it dies out of charge there are chances it might charge again once you charge it but in some cases it wont, you need to boost your battery just like jump start your car.It cannot be done anywhere except some service centre. If you are not taking to your service center , then you need to buy a new battery.

Hi,
Check for the following:

USB Cable
Make sure that the USB cable is properly plugged in and use the original cable.

Computer in Hibernation mode
Make sure the computer isn’t entering hibernate or sleep mode while the device is connected.  The computer must be on in order to charge your player.

USB Port 2.0
Make sure the player is connected USB 2.0 port (1.1 occasionally causes charging problems).

USB Port location
Try plugging in different USB port (i.e. USB port in the back of the computer); sometimes the front USB ports have problem charging up the device.

Battery
Make sure the battery is fully charged.  It takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge the battery.

Latest firmware
Make sure to update firmware by downloading and installing the Sansa Firmware Updater
