I am unable to charge my V7 via the charger cradle. I have tried both the original battery and a spare I have, but the cradle charger light is always flashing green. According to the manual, this means the charger is on standby, and the batteries do not recharge. To actually charge the camera, the light needs to be solid red, until the battery is charged, when it then goes green. There is no advice on how to get the cradle out of this 'standby' mode. Any help please! I can't use my camera!
Thanks for your efforts. It looks like a defective charger which I´ll get Casio repairs to sort. Cheers
First of all I would make sure that the battery is in correctly. There should be an arrow on the battery that should line up with a plus sign on the battery door. Once the battery is installed correctly then place the camera on the charger and the light should be a solid red. If that still doesn't work then I would be more inclined to think that you may have a defective charger. I would call Casio repairs and see what they can do to help you.
If these batteries ore of the normal AA shape get a regular charger for the type of battery they are.
