I see that you are having difficulties with your Frigidaire freezer, LFFU14F5HWC, changing on the display and the inside light is flashing off. This sounds like a possible problem with your panel or socket. I would recommend performing a reset on your freezer and you can do that by unplugging the power cord for at least ten minutes. If this does not help correct your issue I would suggest having a professional technician out to perform proper repairs. This will help you avoid any unnecessary part purchases. I understand that the light and alarm are working fine on your Frigidaire freezer, model# FFU2065FW1. I also see that you are receiving power to the control module, however it is blank. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and try adjusting the temperature. I understand that you want to know if the green light has to be on at all times and the temperature set to normal on your Frigidaire freezer, model# FFU2124D. The green light will always be on. This is letting you know that there is power going to your freezer. You do not have to leave to temperatures set on normal. You are able to choose any temperature that works for you and keeps your food frozen. When changing temperature settings, turn the knob slightly in the direction you want, and wait 24 hours for temperatures to stabilize. If you want to change the temperatures more, again wait another 24 hours after changing them, for the temperature to stabilize. Hope this is helpful.

Check the power cord!!!!! sometimes the thermostat can make these units become dead or the PCB is not earthed properly, check the fuse has not had a timer fail....just change the fuse, its very common. (located in the PCB)

First make sure that the cleaning valve is closed, this is the White wing nut looking handle on the side wall under the inlet water valve. This handle has to be in the closed position which is horizontal to the base it closes a micro-switch. If the handle is loose turn the power switch to Ice have the handle in the open position and feel with your finger behind where the handle closes and push the micro-switch in manually and hold for a few seconds and see if the Power OK light comes on on the control board in the control box.

underneath the unit in the metal box there is a ballast for the lights check it to see if it is getting power and or producing power to the bulbs

You need to install or change the battery for the power out freezer alarm. Mine was just doing the same thing. I looked on the web for the answer and couldn't find it. Opened the door to look for the model number and there was the diagram for the light flashing codes. Mine's battery compartment is in the grill on the bottom (right below the door) on the left side. Takes a 9v battery. I had a power outage recently and it must have killed the battery after beeping for several hours.
