NAT is a protocol for networking. Network Address Translation was developed to keep from running out of IP addresses. When your Internet Service Provider gives you service they give you 1 IP address which would only allow one device to be hooked to they internet. NAT allows you to assign private IP addresses to each device in your home and then translates it back to the one address your ISP provided to you. Linksys routers typically have this set by default. Are you plugging your XBOX to your Linksys router or are you using wireless adapter?
