Canon L120 Fax machine

Just took delivery of this today and followed set up instructions to the letter. Can receive lovely faxes but cannot send It says "Memory" Set Doc after I press start...what have I missed out? HELP! Whole office waiting for me to do this so they can get on with sending faxes!!! Thanks

not sending or receiving any fax keeps saying offhook and press start button

I received some faxes today and they all have the date of march 8. how do I change the settings so each time i get a fax it has the right date?

You have to make sure that the document release lever is fully down.

The heads on my fax machine need cleaning how do i do it

Your fax machine (L120) use dry toner and not ink cartridges, so it doesn't have printhead. If the copies are dirty or bad but received faxes and printed documents are OK, then You have to clean the scanner unit (it's above the plain paper storage and can be opened with small handle).

I have lost instruction manual. How do I 'copy' on a canon FAX-L120

1-Load the document face up in the ADF/Tray
2-Enter the copy mode by pressing Copy Button
3-Enter Quality
4-Press Start

For any further information/ clarification please refer to Chapter 6, Page 80 & 81 for the Canon i-SENSYS FAX-L120 Manual.
Save the Manual for Future reference

Canon L120 fax, Hang up the Phone message

Make sure that the phone line coming from the wall jack is inserted in the port with the "L" next to it (I think it's the bottom of the three). If you put it in the port with the picture of the phone next to it (which is for an extension phone or answering machine), the L120 thinks that the receiver is off the hook of the extension phone.

How do I tune my fax machine so that each time I send a fax I get an individual delivery report?

Press funcktion ,dataregistration,scroll down until you get report settings,press ok and scroll down to tx report,press ok and change to output yes.
Then you will receive a report for every fax you send.

Go to Control Panel>Double click of Printer & faxes >It will open up a window you need to delete all tasks from that. If it still doesnt help contact Canon people for further assistance :

Can not receive fax

Make sure the fax is set to receive automatically. The receive mode must be set to one of the following modes: Fax Only, Fax/Tel Auto Sw, or Ans Machine. If it is set for Answering Machine, be sure the machine is connected to the fax, turned on, and contains a recorded outgoing message.

I'm not familiar with the B120, but if you have an L120 the manuals are available here. The Starter Guide will explain receive mode options and setup instructions. The Advanced Guide will provide troubleshooting guidance.
