I had a similar problem, but instead of no connection, our connection kep dropping. We were about 100feet from the router, using a Belkin USB wireless adapter on a desktop running XP. I went into the router, changed the power setting dropdown from 6(default) to 10 and when I hit save, the connection status lit up super fast and has stayed in "excellent" for a few days now! YES!

What do you do if you put in the incorrect access number (I did), now my dsl keeps trying to dial and will not connect. I don't have dial up and I can't connect????

You need to get into the routers settings by way of the router management software, or typing its ip address in your web browser. in the local area network section make sure that wireless is enabled, and exit. Lastly restart the router as sometimes they can lock out for some reason, remove the mains power connector for about 30 seconds or so and reconnect. If the wireless still does not show, look to your wireless card or whatever you are using on your pc and check that they are working as normally the wireless light only flickers when a wireless peice of hardware is connecting to the internet.
