You are looking for one of my favorite keys...the "fn" (or function) key. Juust left of the windows key (under your left palm) is the fn key. Pressing this key at the same time as a key with the F3 key will toggle your bluetooth on and off. In fact, the fn key will toggle several keys if they have a blue icon printed under the main number.

SOURCE: bluetooth location on acer laptop

Bluetooth other than the device itself is software, the "bluetooth dongle" gets plugged into a port via the usb, So I am thinking you need to plug it in to the computer. If it is a new machine if may be internal, that would be under programs, start programs, if no bluetooth it must be installed the software and hardware, good luck

SOURCE: acer aspire 5500z driver bluetooth

First of all check if your Laptop has the bluetooth feature. If it has then the driver should have been automatically installed. There is a button in your laptop, make sure that the bluetooth is on.

Thanks

Make sure you have the driver for the bluetooth installed http://support.acer.com/us/en/drivers_download.aspx
here is a link to the driver downlod page. You can check it by going into System Properties then click on Hardware tab to see if it is installed properly. (right click on My Computer Icon and select Properties to get to the System Properties)

SOURCE: my acer aspire 4810t says no bootable device

enter BIOS - you will see a mesage when you first turn on laptop tellign you to press a key to enter setup. Do this and make sure HDD is listed. if it is, you might have todo a recovery.

Turn on laptop, then immediatly press ALT + F10 keep finger on ALT and press F10 a few times, this will start the recovery process. some ask if you want to re-install windows or full factory reset. Windows install will only repair it - full factory reset will delete any data you have! so be careful

The bluetooth logo is there but each time i try to enable it,it keep telling me that there is no device and i was told in the customer,s guide note to enable it by clicking Fn + F3 but each time i try...

Sometimes on laptops there is a access panel on the bottom of the laptop that when you take them off will show slots for inserting additional ram, wireless network, modem and bluetooth modules. If you can look and see you may find that your laptop has the capability for bluetooth, but may need a card installed. If your laptop does not then you could always buy a usb bluetooth like the one here: http://www.cellularfactory.com/laptop/ACER/4/31883/518537/

How do u turn on the wireless capability on an acer aspire 4810TZ?

The "Communication Key" controls the wireless function. This key is located above the keyboard on the right. There are a series of keys together to the left of the right speaker port. The communication key is the far left key in this group of buttons.

If you are trying to enable bluetooth simply press the fn+F3 key to turn bluetooth on.
