I HAVE A JVC CAMCORDER AND I CAN RECORD AN EVENT BUT CAN NOT SEE IT. I CAN ALSO PUT A TAPE IN THAT I HAVE ALREADY RECORDED AND IT WILL PLAY. I CAN HEAR WHAT I HAVE RECORDED BUT I CAN NOT SEE IT
The rotating video head circuit is faulty. problem may be deeply rooted on a circuit board or as simple as head not spinning. can you hear the head spinning?

yes have the same problem. can not see picture while recording on hear the sound. I can heard the head spinning. now what. can this be repaired
I have the same problem. It shows that it is recording but it is only recording sound, and the LCD screen is all black. If it is on Play mode, I can hear the sounds of tapes recorded, but the images do not show. Is it a factory problem? The camera is brand new and I've only recorded about 90 minutes of video with it. Any suggestions or possible solutions will be greatly appreciated.
