Hi there:
E 61 00 Difficult to adjust focus Inspect the lens block focus reset sensor
E 61 10 Zoom operations fault Inspect the lens block zoom reset sensor
E 62 00 Steadyshot function does not work well. Inspect pitch angular velocity sensor
E 62 01 Steadyshot function does not work well. Inspect yaw angular velocity sensor

The simple solution to fix that error message was to the let the lens fully extend and give the lens a good whack. Possibly this error message for this means, that the auto focus motor was past the maximum set point.

This may sound crazy and this has not happened since I did this but here is what I did to get rid of that error message. I have not had that problem since but here was my steps:
• Turn the camera off
• Hold the camera face down over a hard surface (Like you are going to take of your desk) with only about half an inch above the surface.

OR reference the video files below for an alternate method.
• Turn the camera on
• Let the lens extend into the hard surface, don't let it extend all the way. Mine retracted slightly and then tried to extend again (let it extend the second time).
• Lift the camera away from the hard surface and notice that the error message is gone.
• Take pictures of your favorite things.

Here is the first alternate method (AVI format)
Here is the second alternate method (AVI format)

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day.

Here is how to connect your Windows 7 installed notebook to an external display

Most of the notebooks that were manufactured in the past two-three years come with a HDMI port along with the old VGA port to connect your computer to an external display. Connecting and activating an external display on a Windows 7 machine is pretty simple.

Here is how to connect your Windows 7 installed notebook to an external display:
1. Connect your Windows 7 laptop to the external display using VGA or HDMI cable.
2. Then, switch on your Windows 7 laptop and also the external display.
3. Once Windows 7 is up and running, type Mobility Center in Start menu search area and hit enter to open the same.
4. If you have connected your Windows 7 machine to the external display properly, you should now see Display connected text under External display section of Windows Mobility Center. To use the connected external display, click Connect Display button. You should now see your Windows 7 desktop in the external display as well.
5. Use disconnect button in the Windows Mobility Center to disconnect the external display. When the display is connected and active, use Windows + P keys to quickly switch between these displays

How do i change the screen from vertical display to horizontal

The IBM ThinkPad Z61t computer runs the Windows operating system. Normally, Windows is displayed on a monitor in a manner that makes it easy to read. If you want to change the screen display configuration (from vertical to horizontal), modify the screen display properties in Windows itself. This process causes the computer to rotate the image displayed on the screen by 90, 180 or 270 degrees, depending on the setting you choose.

1.Right-click on an empty portion of the Windows desktop on the Z61t.

2.Click "Properties."

3.Click "Display."

4.Click "Change display settings."

5.Click the "Orientation" drop-down window. Select the "Landscape" option to make the screen display items in a horizontal manner.

Lcd screen stuck in external screen mode

How to use the function (Fn) keys on the keyboard - ThinkPad T40, T40p, T41, T41p, T42, T42p, T43, T43p

Switching the display output location.
Switch between the computer display and an external monitor. If an external monitor is attached, the computer output is displayed in the following three patterns by turns:
  • External monitor (CRT display)
  • Computer display and external monitor (LCD + CRT display)
  • Computer display (LCD)
Notes:
  • For any operating system other than Windows 2000 or Windows XP, no additional procedure is needed. Just press Fn+F7.
  • This function is not supported if different desktop images are displayed on the computer display and the external monitor (the Extend desktop function).
  • This function does not work while a DVD movie or a video clip is playing.
To enable this function in Windows 2000 and Windows XP, the following procedure is needed:
  1. When you log on to Windows 2000 and Windows XP for the first time, press Fn + F7 and select a display-switching function in the Initial setup window. Since in Windows 2000 and Windows XP multiple users can log on to a single operating system by using different user IDs, each user needs to select the function in the initial setup window when logging on for the first time.
  2. If the Fn + F7 key combination have been assigned to a presentation scheme function, start Presentation Director, and change the settings.

My problem is the displayed windows on my monitor/screen

Press the F8 key when windows is booting up from a power off situation, select "safe Mode" you should get a Display then,(NO Video driver(except windows generic) driver is load in safe mode). Set your display to the LOWEST resolution.. Reboot. See if you have a display with the driver set Low. If so, increase the resolution on level at a time until you encounter a problem. If you do not select Yes when windows asks if you want to keep this display setting, Windows will revert back to the last setting you selected yes for.
