This is an uncommon problem with Xbox 360's, but I have heard of it before. I know of a few possible fixes:
- Eject the game you're trying to play so your drive is empty.
- Turn on your console.
- Insert the disc and see what happens.
Xbox 360's do not have the greatest DVD drives on the planet, no doubt. Another thing you could do is to connect your Xbox 360 to the internet and be sure you have the latest firmware update. This
might remedy the problem. As soon as your 360 is connected, it will automatically detect if an update is needed and it will tell you it wants to download it without you having to do anything.
If neither of these work, chances are you'll need to contact Microsoft at 1-800-4MY-XBOX for technical support. If you're lucky, you're still under warranty.
