My microwave makes a louds humming noise when in use. I just got this as a gift, so it doesn't have much use on it, but it was a clearance item so it can't be taken back as the company doesn't carry them and all sales were final.
We had this problem with a new GE microwave in our last home. GE service replaced fan assy,.AND added rubber foam around the motor, Loud hum was reduced,but never did completely go away. We learned to live with it/
