Go to Control Panel and click on the SOUNDS icon. Then open the Audio Tab and select from the speaker drop down, the sound card installed in your computer. It then should work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud

Why does my keyboard have no sound?

Try using headphones. If it works, then you have a problem with the speakers if you have built in's.

Model-m 255 clarion installed in a pontoon boat. RADIO WAS WORKING JUST FINE, THEN I INSTALLED A (NEW) BATTERY FOR MY BOAT, HOOKED EVERTHING BACK THE SAME WAY. NOW, I HAVE POWER BUT (NO) SOUND...

Disconnect all the speaker leads and then hook one speaker (a new, known to work speaker) up directly to the radio using a short (6"-12") piece of speaker wire. Does that speaker work then?

Keyboard and speakers don't work

check your drivers to make sure you have all of them installed, especially after installing a new hard drive. also make sure to use a standard keyboard until this is done. i am assuming the ones you are currently using are usb. also make sure the usb settings are enabled in the bios. often, bios settings can cause problems with accessories or peripherals. one other thing is to make sure all connections have been secured. installing a new drive can be intimidating and something may have inadvertently become disconnected.

Same prob. My acer worked y.day and now no sound.

I completely unplugged my speakers. And uninstalled all the hardware for my speakers. Then restarted my computer. Then inserted my format disc for my speakers. Reinstalled it. Using all automatic speaker settings. And they work fine now.

check if voicecontroler is installed properly

2)check if sound in your PS is not muted

3)check if your speakers are connected to right output (seems to be ok)

Corrupt keyboard drivers

Generally, if you are using a corded keyboard, it should automatically get recognized and the built in Windows drivers should work.

If you are getting a wireless keyboard, make sure you have the latest driver/software and have that installed.

The Keyboard not working, MS Wireless, laser, desktop 5000

i don't like the sound of you taking the hard drive out of a old computer and loading it in your new one without reinstalling windows especially with windows XP your choice i guess.

Did you try and couple the keyboard and receiver by pressing and holding the button on the keyboard for a while?
