I dropped it about 3 feet off onto a brick fireplace and now when i hit the eject button, it makes a weird loud noise and wont eject the disk. But it read the disk that is in there fine. Any help?
If it is still under warranty use the link provided
Nintendo Support
Fill out their form and be very descriptive when asked and they will repair it.
Alternatively you may choose to open the case and examine the damage - This is unadvisable as you warranty will be void and you could further damage the console
Ok there are several things I want you to try:
Put the Wii on standby - That is it has power but is not on and hit eject
Unplug the Wii at the wall wait 10 or so seconds plug it back in and hit eject while in standby
The last option involves some pulling apart but you warranty is void so if you are relatively confident this should be no issue.
Unscrew the front panel of the case
There should be a small hole near the drive in which your disk is stuck
Get a paper clip and straighten it out and push this firmly into the hole
Your disk should pop out.
Now turn the Wii on insert the disk and test if it can be ejected normally
Hope this helped
