SOURCE: I have a blueparrett b250-xt
Hi, once your blueparrot B250-XT bluetooth is no more holding charge, then it's time to replace it by getting another one because the battery is somehow built inside the headset that it cannot be removed or changed.. Once the life span of the battery is completely drained, that is the end of the headset.

If your headset is showing a green light when it is plugged into the charger it means the battery is receiving power. If you remove the unit from the charger and it will not turn on or function properly there is likely an issue with one of the control circuits. Without seeing the unit we would not be able to tell you which circuit is experiencing some sort of issue but the unit does need service. The VXi, Blueparrott B250-XT has a one year repair warranty from date of purchase. Please call our After Market Services Department at 800-742-8588 x2011 to obtain a return authorization number (or RA#). After you have received your RA# you may send us your headset to us via any means you choose (prepaid) with your RA# marked on the package, please include a copy of your invoice or receipt. If you do not have a copy of your proof of purchase we use the production date in the serial number as the warranty default start date. The After Market Services group will either replace your unit with like new product or repair your headset as necessary. In either case, our goal is to turn the unit around for outbound shipping in two business days (please note this goal can be affected by volume at the time your unit arrives).
We hope this information is helpful to you. Feel free to visit us on line at www.vxicorp.com for more details on our warranty process as well as FQA information for all of VXi's products.

If the headset goes dead almost immediately after charging the issue is likely with one of the control circuits. In the unlikely event the battery is the issue is manufacturer replaceable only. I'd recommend calling VXi at 800-742-8588 for warranty repair option information.

You can try installing a fresh battery. I have been in contact with the overseas supplier of these batteries and am offering them for $20 via PayPal once my shipment comes in. Please contact me at [email protected].
1. You must start with the headset in the OFF position. Put the headset in pairing mode by Pressing and holding the Multi-Function Button until the lights are flashing alternating Red and Blue, you will then release the Multi-Function Button. Please note the headset will continue flashing Red and Blue until the paring cycle times out (approximately 2 minutes) or completes the paring with the cell phone. If you only press and release the Multi-Function Button the headset will not go into the paring mode.
2. Once the headset is in paring mode, go to the Bluetooth menu / connections of your cell phone. Select add new / search for / find new device (different phones have different but similar names for the options). The cell phone should find a device called VXi B250-XT. Move the cursor over the VXi B250-XT and press (OK, select, enter, or whatever your phone uses for a prompt). If the cell phone asks for a passkey code you will put in 0000 (four zero's). The headset will then pair and connect to the cell phone and be blinking Blue once every second. Your phone may ask you if you want to connect to the B250-XT and/or add it to your trusted device list, press (OK, select, enter, or whatever your phone uses for a prompt).
