Question about Memorex RF 7000 Wireless EZ Touch Keyboard

Lost the RF/USB adapter - spare part, other keyboard/mouse ?

I lost the RF/USB adapter and so my mouse/keyboard are of no use? I have a Logitech LX300 and tried that wireless keyboard/mouse's RF adapter - no joy. I emailed Memorex but they no longer support this product. Any way for me to get this keyboard (which I truly enjoy) back to working short of buying a complete 2nd set? Any recommendations to buy other programmable keyboards (preferably wireless) where I can substitute a complete string for a hot key (the LX300 won't do that!)?

It is possible that the problem is reelated to a Windows problem that is causing your BSOD. If you can get me the BSOD info this will help me see what is going on. The link below will help you get the info I need.

SOURCE: i have dated memorex model

yes, you are missing the wireless receiver that plugs into the laptop.
Your best bet at this point is to go out and buy a $5 USB keyboard.

Software for logitech wireless mouse&keyboard as adapter lost

If you are talking about the wireless transmitter--well, without it, you are dead in the water. I would say you could contact Logitec to see if you can get another one. The adapter and keyboard/mouse are paired to each other.

I lost the usb rf adapter to my wireless gearhead keyboard w/touchpad. where can i get a replacement usb?

YOU CAN NOT REPLACE IT WITH ANY THING.
I CALLED GEAR HEAD , THEY SAID THAT THEY MAKE THE USB FOR EACH KEY BOARD AND DO NOT KEEP RECORDS
OF THEM.
YOU MUST PURCHASE A NEW KEY BOARD AS YOUR GEAR HEAD BOARD IS NOW USELESS. I HAVE ONE ALSO USB LOST IN OFFICE FIRE CLEAN UP.

SORRY. AL

Lost M215 wireless mouse dongle, how to about it?

Hi

Without the dongle, the mouse cannot communicate with the computer. Only logitech produce a dongle with the correct signal to connect to the mouse.

So either order a replacement dongle from logitech or buy a 2nd identical cordless mouse set and keep one mouse as a spare, in case the first one is dropped, becomes faulty or gets lost or temporarily mislaid.

I hope this helps.

My logitech mouse M215 is not working, at first i taught that it was just the battery but when i replace it instead of having a yellow light in the led it appears to be orange, i just want to know what is...

This problem is likely to be a lost connection. The connection between the mouse and the USB receiver can be lost due to several reasons such as:

  • Low battery
  • Moving the USB receiver from one USB port to another
  • Moving the USB receiver to another computer
  • Plugging the USB receiver into a USB hub or other unsupported device such as a KVM switch (your Unifying USB receiver must be plugged directly into your computer)
  • Using your cordless mouse on metal surfaces
  • Radio frequency (RF) interference of more powerful wireless devices such as:
    • Wireless speakers
    • Computer power supplies
    • Monitors
    • Cellular telephones
    • Garage door openers

Eliminate any problem sources mentioned above that might be affecting your device.

I lost usb receiver for my logitech key board. I don't have waranty.what should i do

The mouse and keyboard is useless without a receiver. Don't throw it away! Take the batteries out of it and go buy another one for 10 bucks. Save the old one in a drawer where your wife will find it, yell at you for keeping junk as she finds a way to throw it away with all the cords and dc plug adapters collected over the years and attempts to sell it at her annual yard sale...that's what happens to me. Seriously, it may not need a logitech USB receiver in order to work. If you buy a new one try to marry the logitech to the new one and then you'll have a spare. Or, but a logitech and you will definitely have a spare. Also, make sure the batteries match in the new one aaa or aa. Purchase a rechargeable battery kit with four batteries and you'll always have a spare. They won't leak and destroy you mouse either. Hope this helps. Actually, you may be able to go on-line to logitech and purchase a USB receiver for your equipment.
