I turn the dvd player on and then it just has a blinking blue sign saying no signal. When i put a DVD in, it does the same thing. I don't know what is wrong with it or how to fix it so if you could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.
We had the "No Signal" problem after a week with the Polaroid PDV-1002A and almost threw it out. We downloaded the manual and it says on the right side there is a small switch AV and to make sure it is on. found this on another site posted by Tim.

Barbara, your dvd player needs to be either on channel 3 or 4. If you have a local channel 3 or 4 switch it to the one that is not local. Or it could be a video 1,2 or 3. Just keep using the remote in that format and you will find the signal.
Can you try just running a/v cable from your tv output to the inputs on the ilo, then whatever you watch on your tv you can record on your dvd burner. My new SDTV doesnt have audio out except Coax so this won't work for me on that tv. Why doesnt the newer tv's have audio AND video outputs???
