My Thingy Won't Work.

So I have a Zen Micro. When I turn it on it acts like it's going to turn on. The screen lights up and the little creative logo displays and so on then it freezes on the creative logo. It will just stay like that if I don't fix it. But the only way to make that go away is to take out the battery. I don't understand why it won't turn on can you help?

One solution might be to reinstall the firmware.

Creative Zen Micro not working at all

Try disconnecting it and then reconnect it back to your pc, it happened to me once and then it was completely dead, nothing happened after it failed to install.

Then I waited the next day and I was about to return it, and I thought that maybe it would work if I connect it and reconnect it back and yeah it worked. it installed successfully.

Let's hope that it will work everytime I connect it from now on, if not I'll probably return it. 'cause I just bought yesterday.

Zen Micro Photo...freezes at Creative Logo

The microdrive is bad. Unfortunately you now have a brick. Microdrives are pretty expensive; you're best bet it to buy another MP3 player.

Zen Micro

Sounds like it may be the index in your Music Library. Try going into Recovery Mode; remove battery, hold power switch to ON, replace battery, release power switch when the Recovery Mode screen appears on the screen. Run Option 1 CleanUP, after it completes run Option 4 Restart. You will get a Rebuilding Library screen when it reboots, that's normal, then it should go back to your startup screen. Good luck and let us know what happened
