Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player

No more custom E Q

I had a prompt to got to recovery mode, found this site, someone helped out with that (thanks so much by the way) but now i don't have the option for a customized equalizer. did i do something wrong or do i have to live without now? please help!

I'm pretty sure the problem is that you didn't update the firmware. you should try that and see if it works.

Get a different mp3 player dont let it fool you it may look cool but it really sucks

Let us ignore the bait and concentrate on recovering your laptop.

The recovery partition is still on the hard drive, use it to restaure the system:
Turn the computer off.
Press 0 and turn laptop on while maintaining pressure on 0 key
Once you see Hardrive recovery Mode displayed release the 0 key
Follow instructions on screen.

The recovery partition is no longer available or is corrupted
If your laptop is relatively new you can ask Toshiba product support to put you in contact with the company that sells the Recovery CD. They will need the laptop's serial and model number. The recovery CDs cost about 45 $ + applicable taxes.

You do not have a credit card: Use CASH.
Go to a store that sells the OS you are interested in. Buy the software. Should you need drivers, go to the Toshiba support site for your country of residence and download all that is available on the site that pertains to your Model number and your OS.

Bad Track

Change the Mode on the device and try to format again.

SETTINGS>MODE or USB MODE.

If that doesnt work. This will;

Run the recovery tool from the SanDisk website. Make sure you select "format" when prompted.

You need to put the device into "recovery mode" before you run the tool.

- Turn the device off (hold power for 20 seconds)
- Slide the hold switch into "hold" position.
- Press and hold the "record" button while connecting it to your computer. Keep holding the "record" button until you see the "new hardware found" on your computer.

Then run the recovery tool. Select format when prompted.

Recovery Mode doesnt help if you dont load anything.

Try this;

My sansa e280 rhapsody says switch to recovery mode
