Hello, I am hoping that you can help us.
After working just fine, yesterday the tv wouldn't come on.
We unplugged it which normally worked after a storm or something like that, but this time it didn't work. It will not turn on either by remote or on the tv itself. A couple of times, after unplugging it, it clicked like it was coming on and then clicked right back off. When hitting the power button on the remote it feels like there is just nothing there. We also pushed a lot of buttons on the remote because it seemed like it was "locked up". Which did nothing. Can you help us?
Thank you very much.

Unplug, remove battery, plug in reboot. OR, try a System Restore to a date before this issue. Have you cleaned the fan, vents, heatsink recently? Is it overheating? It would be helpful if we knew the Toshiba Model number and the OS you are using.
Switch off the TV from remote, then switch off the on/off button on the TV, remove the plug pin from the power outlet. Cool off for 48 hours and then retry. If nothing works, better refer it to a qualified service technician.
Hello mike this problem could either be that your main board is faulty or the most common problem would be the power supply board which is giving you this problem, what i would suggest just to be on the safe side is for u to do a hard reset on your tv set just incase it is a tv setting problem, disconnect your tv set for a period of 4 hours than plug it back in and see what happens, if that does not work than your problem is more than likely a bad power supply board hope this helps thank you.
