Its most likely an issue with the audio out IC . Most parts have been discontinued for that model but if you send a email request for assistance to [email protected] they will help and they should have the audio IC available for that model.
Check to see how many times it blinks when turning off and then look for the codes for Sony tv blinks. this will tell you what's wrong. This set is notorious for Shorted tubes.
