Victor. The prewash flashing is indicating a water fill issue. Rinse uses cold water only. check for clogged inlet screen on the cold water valve, and check if there is a screen on the supply valve also. If the inlet screen is all clogged up at the valve on the washer, you can clean it with a little windex and an old soft tooth brush. gently brush away any sediment or debris. If no filters are clogged, you will need to replace the fill valve assembley.
No solution! tried resetting to factory defaults but ended up that even the drain pump stopped working. after flooding the kitchen (nearly). I decided it was terminal and am loking for a new dishwasher urgently as I type. Cheers.
hi on the model before this one the wma series the flashy pre wash light is a faulty water inlet valve these mashines are allmost identical inside so check that, first check that you have the hot/cold pipes on the right way around hope this helps
This problem is common to both the 300 & 310 models. The flashing Fast light indicates a blockage in the water supply. I fixed this by: - disconnecting the dishwasher - checking for blockages in the input hose filter (there were none) - removing the bottom of the dishwasher (two screws at the front) - looking for the translucent plastic bucket thing attached to the side of the main assembly - unclipping it from the main assembly and removing the white hose attached to it - flushing 5 years worth of evil gunk down the sink (you need a small brush or piece of wire to get it out
Their is a small bowl connected by a see trough plastic pipe leading up to the preshour switch, that you will have to clean out the bowl and disconect the pipe from the presure switch and blow trough this to clean out any droplets of water. Replace then try the machine again, it may fill up again, dont dispair, empty the machine and re-blow trough the hose again with it disconected from the preshure switch. To empty the machine of water place the outlet hose into a bucket 3 or 4 times.
Plug off the wall, etc. Remove the rear cover. There is a thin tube coming from the control panel area to the base where the water exits, this should not be blocked, remove from top and blow to check, refit. Next clean out your outlet filter, it could be clogged, refit.
When u hav rinse problems, it is usually the outlet filter.
I too had this problen today. Printed off a manual from the Hotpoint website. Very helpful troubleshoot section. Anyway, flashing eco and fast lights and beeping sound indicates 'water feed pipe blocked' You need to check the water inlet connections on your tap. However, when we pulled it out we noticed the blue water inlet pipe was slightly kinked. Straightened this out and hey presto! It works fine again. How this happens when its worked ok for 18 months will never know but still. Try it! hope this was helpful...shewoo
yes i had a similar problem the prewash light kept coming on mid wash cycle and eventually stopped taking in the water just bypassing it straight to outlet without filling machine. i found if you remove the pump at the rear of machine and disconnect hoses there was a build of lets say deposits leading to a sensor through a opaque plastic connector to the top of machine . after cleaning the hoses thoroughly and removing all the crud machine worked as it should do, hope this helps
please anyone have a solution?
