My Acer Aspire 5920 won t turn on The battery light blinks but it is plugged up

I have plugged my laptop in but nothing happens. It's just a black screen. I did just notice that the battery light is blinking, so, could this be the actual plug in itself?

I have an Acer Aspire 5920 and it worked fine until today.  The thing won't turn on, black screen, zero power.  The charger light is a steady green until I plug it in to the laptop then it starts blinking green.  Called Acer and got no where.  Of course, my warranty expired 2 days ago.  Go figure. Has anyone found out for sure what the problem is or what the solution is? I'm guessing the battery is shot.  Any help is appreciated. ahh my laptop was fine all last night i switched it off as normal no problems, go to turn it on today and nothing! no power to the actual laptop when its plugged in!!!, whats going on it was fine last night till now??? someone help me!!

The power adapter is Doing the beeps when it is plugged in. If you listen to the laptop up close it is beeping as well. Has anyone tried to change out the power adapter? I broke the laptop down. I see no damage to the board. Reseated the CPU and heatsink. Debating if i should get another power adapter.

Same problem as everyone else. Comp was working just as it normally does then all the sudden shut off. no battery power and no power coming to computer from power adapter. Will not start up and the power adapter either has a solid green light, blinking green light or is beeping. Need help very much. please. Same problem as everyone else.
