Plasms tv hello the problem with my tv is that when you turn the tv on it will stay on for about 10 mins then it will turn its self off on to stand by. then the red standby button flashes constantley.also there is a winng sound coming from the back of the tv when you turn it on. hopefully you can help. thanks ryan

In most of the case, the problem is the main board, you may try the below procedure to fix the problem:

Re-Flow Soldering Procedure for Main Board

1.Pre-heat your kitchen oven to 385 degree (No more than 400 degree);

2.Put the main board on a card board (like a pizza box board) in the oven;

3.Heat it for 10 minutes (No more than 10 minutes);

4.Turn the oven off & leave the door open, at this moment, do not touch or move the board until it colds down to the room temperature.

5.Install the board in the TV & try it out.

maybe the headlights is fault.

The power supply regulator section circuit should be troubles hooted. Contact any service technician.

yes usually the 2 white wires break inside column that mount to lock cylinder assembly, try turning key on for 10 min than off than on for 10 min than off than on for 10 min.then try and start if starts and stays running will prob. need passlock sensor which is part of ignition lock cylinder

This model no. has a built-in "self diagnostic software" that can be access to narrow down where the fault came from.
How to enter to self diagnostic screen display.
1. Turn on the main power switch of the TV and enter into standby mode.
2. Press the following sequence of buttons on the remote control.


Self diagnostic error menu will be display. It has an error code no. with the corresponding numerical digit "0" means no fault detected or "1" fault has been detected. See sample picture below.

You mostly see this when the bulb is bad. I dont remember the tech answer however changing the bulb fixes 95 percent of them. It is possible your power supply is going bad as well, but you would probably see problems trying to get the tv to come on.

This tv have power supply problems,take it back to retailer demand an exchange or call Panasonic for a warrenty repair.

hello. here is something you can try , unplug the set and let it set. for about 10 mins. then plug it back and try tpo turn it on. hope this help's you. let me know "GOOD LUCK"
