Connecting Webcab to SKYPE

If the person cannot hear you then, either your microphone driver not installed or not working OR the microphone is not configured in Skype.
To test your microphone then click on Start - All Programs - Accessories - Entertainment - Sound recorder. Then record your voice and then play it back. If this is OK then the microphone need to be configured in Skype.
To configure the microphone - Open Skype - Tools - Options - Audio Settings for the Microphone THEN click on Save.

Your webcam may need an update. If you click on the webcab toolbar, there should be an option to update. Otherwise, go to logitech.com, select "support", select "product support"; then follow the options to enter model number or product type.

For Logitech to work with Skype you need to install the Logitech driver for your model WEBcab. Then you need to configure Skype to use the Logitech WEBcam and microphone.

I got solved the problem by itself.. i didnt do anything. Thank you...

Hopefully you have not loaded the quickcam software yet. If you have, hopefully you only loaded the drivers for the cam and not the logitech control panel for the camera. If you loaded the control panel, it loads everytime you start your computer and runs minimized in the bottom status bar. When you start Skype, it activates the camera and so does the logitech control panel. Thus you have two programs trying to control the cam at the same time and you have nothing but problems thying to get it to work. You will need to right click on the logitech control icon and exit the program before starting Skype. After you start Skype got to tools, options and set your camera and mic. settings from the drop down menu. You can then go to Skype test call and see if the settings are correct. Skype allows you to turn on the video or off when you make calls to others. This is so they can't see you, but you can see them during the call unless they have theirs turned off also. I believe you are trying to use this cam on skype.Skype has a setup for your cam/mic.follow the prompts.and set-up. if still not working uninstall cam drivers and redownload new from the net @ logitech.com.RICHARDM69
