I have a wild guess. I have the same tv and channel 72 is the proper channel to watch tv on. I don't know why, but maybe try channel 72 instead of the usual channel 3. Good luck, maybe a quick fix, maybe not!

I have a Toshiba 52HMX94 rear projection T.V., i've had it for 4 years, replacing bulb every year. I now have another new bulb, but when I turn on the T.V. i hear a buzzing noise from the rear, and then...

Hi,
Your TV requires ballast power supply board that gives you buzzing noise when TV turns ON.
Ballast supply board is available in Part Store and replacement of that board requires expertise.

Red light flashing while green light stays on

I have the same TV, your projection bulb has quit/failed.

A loud pop was heard and the picture has gone followed by a red led fault light clicking on and off.

if your tv is less than 1 year old, and you registered it with Toshiba, you could qualify for a free replacement.

otherwise expect to pay 200.00 for a new bulb from Toshiba.

only good thing is you can replace it yourself, only tool needed is a phillips screwdriver.

you can check EbaY for prices less than 175.00 to 150.00
i am on my 3rd bulb within 4 years....

good luck!
