Ok, so our Asko T781 Electric Dryer decided to die on us today. last night, mom said it was working fine but this morning, when she opened it to see if our load is finished, there was condensation in the dryer and the operating buttons didn't light up any more. I checked and re-do the plug-in thing, and it's fine. The on/off button doesnt work. Please help!! :(

Re: Asko T781 Electric Dryer Doesn't Turn On
Have you reset the cut out on the back? its a little black button that you push in until it clicks. If it does not click, then it probably wasnt the problem. The next most likely cause is a melted fuse holder inside the box on the rear where the power cord goes in. There is a bypass kit available to repair this problem from ASKO, as the fuses are not needed. If you are able to do some simple wiring, you can do this. Otherwise find an AUTHORIZED asko servicer and they will know what I'm talking about. Good luck!

Asko are not very common in many areas and so not many people can mentally remember what this model looks like. However, if the display doesn't not work: Try unplugging it for five minutes or just removing the power for that time. See if it resets.
Not sure what 'does not work' means...no light, no response to touch..respond but does not start..??? Give more info if you seriously nee people who are not at the machine to help you.
