Sound gets muffled at certain frequencies. Please Help!

I think that rather than the mixer, that your front speakers may have a limiter built into the high frequncey amp. You may be asking them to do more that they are capable of.

My 10 w7 has vocals and bass now my vocals sounds muffled what can i do to get rid of my vocals and keep my bass???

You're going to need what's called in the audio world as a crossover. These can be as simple as a capacitor or inductor in series with the speaker, and can be as complex as you like. I'd advise using an inductor in front of the speaker, of around 8mH. This will leave bass intact, but reduce the vocals.

You can calculate your own crossovers at http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/crosscalc.asp

There's wiring diagrams to help you.

sounds like either the mp3 player or the receiver have SRS (kinda like virtual surround sound) disable or modify this setting. search your instruction manual for more information. hope this helps.

Can't hear voice of singer on speakers, more of an echo sound

An old trick to remove vocals from a song was to rip the right channel, then the left, the combine them (since vocals are typically mixed in a third 'center' channel, though things like reverb or echo are applied to the right and/or left channels which sounds like what you are hearing).

I would play with the balance and mixer settings and see if you can get the vocals back. Also try other speakers or even headphones and see if you have the same problem.

Hope this helps!

XO Vision Bluetooth in-dash dvd player

you probably set the audio for 5-channel. In a 5-channel set up. Which it doesnt sound like you have there is a 5th speaker in the center of the dash dedicated for clear vocals. Play with surround options and i'll bet you can fix it
