First of all take the Audio output from the LINE OUTPUT and connect to an external amplifier. If the sound is still not clear then it is possible that the fault is in the SIF section provided this is the sound distortion from a Tv program/cable program. If this is a DVD or DTH input then the distortion can be from these input units. So please confirm on them.
If the sound does not have distortion then the fault is in the OUTPUT of the audio amplifier in the TV, Possible the output IC or the coupling capacitor are defective.
it happens because of the connecting wires that they get distorted by other source or have the fault in them
Try to configure when cables are away from any object is the picture distorted or it is clear if clear then change the positon of the cables going
Is the menu text clear on the screen, when it's focused correctly. Or is that also distorted.
If the menu text is OK then the picture signal is dodgy. could be due to a bad earth lead on the video cable.

Hi! It's a faulty CCD imager - a very common problem with the T33 - the imager has to be replaced. You can buy it from http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/toms.rammsteins and replace the CCD yourself (ask seller the instructions).
Try turning off power and let set cool completely. Then turn back on. Letting it cool complety re-arms the autmatic degaussing circuit. It may take several cycles to completly clear it up.
Capacitors going bad on your DM or FMT board. Very difficult to replace, but Mits does a rebuild on the chassis. I recommend talking to your Mits service center and getting the rebuild done.
