It will then work ok for awhile and then it does it all over again I went to the web site and got the latest upgrade for the drivers and i still have the problem any suggestions? I uninstalled the printer and all of the software and then reinstalled and still have the problem I am running windows xp pack 2 and have alot of space thanks for any help
You know what, this personally happened to me with a dell 922. Fro the life of me, I have no idea what happened. But, here's what I did to fix it. Knowing that lexmark and dells have problems with remembering things, I flushed out ALL the software, used a program called crap cleaner to delete any temporary files, and unplugged the printer itself for 30 mins. I also Changed the usb cord as well, thinking it might be the cord. Whatever the problem, it seemed to fix it, and I have yet to receive that error again.
