If only demo mode is playing,it's mean set is in standby mode.Normally in standby mode it can't be operated. You have to power on the set by pressing power botton during demo mode.Once it gets power on,it will start to work according to user required function. If the set not get power on after pressing power botton, then it's an electrical problem and need to visit your nearby repairing centre.
I found out accidentally, is when I push the "demo" button, which shows many of the features on the TV. It'll run through the demo a few times, for as much as 10 minutes, then the TV will be fine.
as you are getting fine picture on demo it indicates that your tv is perfectly ok.
problem is out side of tv
1 check cable connection for loose or its socket is loose.
2 wire might be old or defective.
3 check tunning is done properly
4 if every thing is fine then check for tuner in your tv.
while the demo is playing you must press "Play"and "Stop" buttons, then display shows DEMO OFF and you can now take the DEMO CD out. In some models you need to turn off the power and turn it on while pressing the EJECT Butoom.
