On the front right where it says LIVINGSTATION, that panel lifts out. Inside you will see two screws, loosen them, (they will not come out because of a retainer) gently pull the box out. Once it is out, there is a wire retainer that has to be removed. Once that is removed, then loosen the nuts from the bulb. Then reassemble. Putting it back in, takes patience, do be in a hurry when putting it back in. It will only go in one way, make sure the bulb is facing the inside when sliding it back in. Hope this helps you..I haven't yet replaced the whole unit from epson ($300) only the bulb, which didn't need it after all. If you have any questions e mail me..

Green projection lamp not working

  1. you will need a manual screwdriver to remove the panel. You need a soft non-abrasive cloth to avoid any contact with your fingers and the lamp assembly.
  2. Turn off the Projector. After the unit has cooled down properly, remove the power cord from the outlet..
  3. Remove Lamp Compartment Door. The lamp compartment on projectors islocated underneath the projector unit. For Rear Projection TVs, the lamp compartment is located in the rear bottom left or right side of the TV.. Remove the screws and the lamp compartment door.
  4. Remove Lamp Assembly. pull out the lamp assembly disconnect any power cords that is still connected to the lamp assembly. Put it aside and don't get it confused with your new lamp!
  5. Clean Lamp Compartment. Dust gets everywhere and while you have the projector open, use a soft cloth to remove any loose dust from the lamp compartment.
  6. Insert New Lamp Assembly. reconnect any power cables to the new lamp if present and slide the new lamp into the compartment in the same orientation that the original lamp came out.
  7. Replace Lamp Compartment Door. Set the lamp compartment door back into place and securely screw in the door without screwing it in too tight
