replace the a/v RCA cables to start with and then if you still have a problem, you have loose connecitions on the a/v board

SOURCE: no signal

Make sure the tuning band is set to cable not air. Connect a known good video signal ie: dvd player or game console, check to see if that works.  Let me know how it goes.

try leaving the set unplugged for several hours, this will reset it to factory settings. If this does not work you need service.

Your problem is in the TV. I'm not familiar with your TV, but you should look for an option to turn it to normal or to try and scan for channels with xbox plugged in and running. I'm pretty sure that if you get HDMI cable, your problem should be solved.

I recently bought an Xbox 360 and plugged it into the back of my TV. However, the TV refuses to show anything from the Xbox 360. I tried Autoprogramming it, and it erased all of my channels except for 1,...

MOST of their older sets are set up where the AV inputs are channels 90-93 ; if you had no signal other than the game the set will skip all those channels out.

If you have a working remote for it direct enter 90-93 one at a time .

Nothing hooked to cable fitting means set will see no signal and skip them out when auto program is engaged.

Hello My xbox 360 sound is not working any more. can this be repaired easily

I doubt this is a console problem, if you go to your my xbox page, scroll over to the right to the system settings page, click console settings, click audio, here you can alter the settings for your audio.
It could also be a problem with your tv channel, could you try a different channel for your games.
Remember thumbs up if this works.

I have no picture but hear the sound of the system on my tv

It could be 3 things:

Your tv connections are disconnected and need to be replaced. See if anything else works when plugged into these connections.

Your cable cord could have a disconnect internally and the cord needs replaced.

Your graphics card on you XBOX 360 is shot any you need to replace it.

Good luck and please rate my solution accordingly.

I plug all the right stuff in but its not coming on the screen...i have i fixed to video and everything

Assuming you plugged in everything correctly, (power, yellow white and red) and have set the TV to the proper channel/input, there are only a few other possibilities:

1. Video cord may be bad (unlikely)
2. Xbox 360 may have some sort of hardware problem (would have to ship it in for repairs if it does)
3. TV won't support it. To check that, all you have to do is try it on a different TV.

Oh and something else I remembered. On the end of the video cord that goes into the Xbox, there's a little switch on the side of it. Make sure you have it set appropriately

Good Luck :)

Xbox 360 sound but no picture can any one help

If you've just bought your xbox 360, then you probably haven't got a HDMI cable.

Which I think you could need.
