Look for a small pinhole and insert a pin to reset the device. if no success, then slowly heat the device with a hair dyer.

I have a JVC GR-DX97EK digital Mini DV camcorder.I'm getting a error message that says "Please Wait,Condensation Operation Paused".Can someone help with this problem?Possibly how to disconnect...

Condensation Alert is normal behaviour if you have taken the camera, for example, from a warm heated room to an outside cold environment. This is to prevent damage to tape or camera.
Wait until the camera acclimatizes (no moisture in the camera) to the new conditions and try again.
If the above is not the problem, take the camea to an Authorised Dealer for diagnosis.

Condensation, operation paused

you can try gently drying it with a hairdryer not too close or too hot but try to get the moisture out that is causing your problem. this could have been caused by coming in from the cold to a warmer room. this should fix it.

Lcd screen reads

Either the dew sensor is defective or there is some condensation inside the unit. Try opening up the unit and pointing a hair dryer at it from about 12" away (enough to blow warm air inside the unit, not hot air). Let that run for about 10-15 minutes and try the unit again. If it continues to fail, than the dew sensor needs to be replaced. This repair shoold be done by a repair shop as cameras are not the easiest to work on.

Condensation, operation paused

Try running a cleaning tape through the JVC 2 or 3 times and also wiping all around the tape compartment with a long cotton bud soaked with isopropyl alcohol. It cured my problem in Singapore.

I have a Digital JVC Camcorder with mini DV with failure code...

That come on because of a humid condition or moisture on the head drum of the camcorder. This is usually cause by going fro a hot enviroment to a cold enviroment. This prevents tape damage or destruction as the tape will stick to the head as it spins. You can open the cassette compartment and use a hair dryer on a low setting for a couple of minutes to get rid of the moisture or just leav the cassette door open for about an hour or until the warning clears.

Help

yes had this on a few JVC it may be that the moisture has corrosded the dew sensor and will need service. When you store it use those crystals that come in packing of some items They are excellent for preventing this in Video cameras

Following message is displayed on screen Please wait condensation operation paused

Hi FixYa !

My problem seemed to be like so many others, i.e. dirty or defective sensor.

One solution, was to turn the camera on, with the charger connected, and leave it on.
After app. one hour, the fault disappeared, and the camera was functional again, but the next day, I had to repeat the operation again!
Is there any where "cleaning the sensor" is descriebed?

Condensation operation of camcorder paused

Condensation problem is a common on newer camcorders. It is the sensor on the board that detects the condition of humidy. If you have not wet the camera or stored it in the humid area, the sensor or components around sensor is faulty. You can try to dry any humidity using hair dryer at medium setting in about 6 inches away for less than 5 minutes toward inside of tape loading area (make sure loading mech is at opened position). If this does not work, take it to recommended local camcorder repair facility for a diagnostics. Good Luck. CRJ

Condensation, operation paused, JVC Video Camera model GR-D70AS

If the camera becomes damp or cold and brought into a warm atmosphere damp forms in the mechanism which would cause the tape to stick and become damaged or fouled.

leave the camera to warm up for a few hours and the fault should clear.

If not the most common reason is the dew sensor has failed and needs replacing
