Netbook has already got 1 gb installed ,i wish to install another 2 gb module
As i know netbook only have 1 DIMM slot, that mean you can't install another module on that netbook, but you can replace the current module (1 GB) with your 2 GB module.

The other memory slot is underneath the keyboard. To remove the keyboard, you will have to remove 2 screws from inside the memory expansion area, underneath it's cover. Details can be found on HP's website (http://bizsupport.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00777623/c00777623.pdf)

check your ram slot is working or not and second it is that your ram speed should be same otherwise the both ram will not work.

You won't. #1 Make sure to remove the screw completely before trying to remove the plate. there should be a raised area or **** where you can slide a flatheaded screwdriver in to pull it up.. If you have just installed the 2gb memory, it may be faulty, it does say that you can use 2gb modules so you may need to swap it
