I have exact same problem with my pioneer receiver (VSX-D810S) too.
We seldom use it but one year ago it started to power off soon after I turned it on.

I have two friends with the Pioneer VSX-D810S receiver that have developed the same problem. I have not found a fix in my research.

Every time I turn on the reciever it will turn on then it says poweroff. What can I do to fix this?

I am also having this problem with a VSXD710S. All I have found so far is there may be a speaker wire strand shorted to the oposite terminal. If so unplug the receiver and remove. (You have to plug and unplug to reset the fault latch). I found this on the Pioneer web site. This was not my fix though, I'm still looking.

Same problem, Power off blinks then unit powers down. Pioneers web site says to check for a loose strand of speaker wire on the terminals. You have to cycle power (unplug) to clear the fault latch. Unfortunately this didn't do it for me.

I have the same problem, the unit powers powers off after a couple of seconds. What needs to be done to resolve the error? Looks like this is a common issue with the receiver.

My friend kept turning it up and i kept turning it back down then it just said poweroff

Sounds like your "friend" has cooked something. It could be one of your speakers (do they all sound ok for the 5 seconds it runs?), or it could be the receiver....
I would try disconnecting all the speakers and see if it stays on. If so, it may be one of the speakers. Connect them one at a time, and see if you can tell.

MOTOROLA W376G...turn off phone on ringtone

Hello!

Set phones ring style as "Vibrate then Ring" , "Vibrate" , or "Silent" to avoid the power on alert.

I set my ring style to "Vibrate then ring" so that I dont have to change the settings everytime I turn it on or forget to so when I receive phone calls or alerts it still rings & then I dont have to go back and change the settings again when I turn tha phone off so that is dosent have the power on alert.

This is the Only way I have found to turn the phone power on tone/alert off.

Change Ring Style:

-Go to Main Menu
-Settings
-Select Ring style
-Then choose change, & set it to the ring style you want.

VSX-D457 Display's power off and then shutdown

Most likely it needs one of the output ICs. But check for cold solder rings on the ground connections of the input board. Est. for it to be repaired $100-$120

I have receiver VSX-D509S. Have had it for

Check for a bad ground on the input circuit board. you will need to re-solder them. Remove top cover and rear panel (many screws on rear panel) The input board can easily be accessed and resoldered. you should also check for a bad ground on the speaker jacks. If it is not repaired, sooner or later you will probably need an output IC. good luck.

IQue 3600 Fatal Alert

You'll have to do a hard reset. Push the reset button, then hold the power button until the Palm Power appear and then release the power button. Next it will ask if you want to erase the data. I hate to said this but select yes. No will not work. Then after the inital set up run a HotSync.
