Question about Intel Gigabyte GA-8IPE1000-G 865PE Socket 478 DDR 400 ATX Motherboard w/SATA, LAN(Gb), USB 2.0&Audio (MGA8IPE1000G)
Hi, Random shut down is usually the hard drive. You need to get it tested at a repair shop and ask if it could be repaired or if you will need a new hard drive. If it's not too big of a problem yet, they might be able to do a lowlevel format which will eliminate bad sectors and do a new install. However, if there's too many bad sectors, it might need to be replaced. Good Luck and let me know what happens.
