I cannot start up my acer aspire 584g32bn

Safe Mode and System Restore can fix startup issues in an Acer Aspire One, but if the computer won't even load the boot screen, the problem could be related to the basic input/output system (BIOS).
The Acer Aspire One 110 and 150 are two models that can have BIOS-related problems that prevent the computer from booting.
You can upgrade the BIOS through a USB flash drive to repair this issue.
If you are able boot past the startup screen, but can't sign in to Windows, you can use Windows Advanced Boot Options to bypass startup problems.

Go to the Acer website (see Below).
http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers
Click "Support," then select "Download" from the menu on the left.
Select "Netbook" as the product family.
Click "Aspire One" as the product line. Select "AOA110" or "AOA150" as the product model.

Click the "BIOS" tab.
Click the download button and save the file to the desktop.

Go to the desktop when the download completes.
Double-click the file to open it.

Drag-and-drop the folder to the desktop.
Double-click the folder to open its contents in Windows Explorer.

Double-click the "BIOS_Acer_3310_A_AOA110 & AOA150" folder.
Double-click the "Dos_Flash" folder.

Insert a blank USB flash drive into a USB slot.
Drag-and-drop the "3310.fd" and "Flashit.exe" files to the flash drive.

Right-click the "3310.fd" file. Click "Rename."
Change the file name to "zg5ia32.fd" and press "Enter."

Connect the AC adapter to the power jack.
Hold down "Fn" and "Esc" with one hand, then press the power button with the other.

Release the "Fn" and "Esc" keys when the power indicator light comes on.
Wait at least seven minutes for the system to fix the BIOS and repair the Acer Aspire One startup issues.
The computer will restart automatically when the process is complete.

Other Models

Turn on the computer.
Press "F8" before the Windows logo appears to access the Windows Advanced Boot Options menu.

Scroll to Last-Known Good Configuration.
Press "Enter" to load Windows.
If the OS fails to start up, hold down the power button for 10 seconds to turn off the computer.

Press the power button to turn the Acer Aspire One back on. Press "F8," then select "Safe Mode" from the options.

Log in to Safe Mode. Click "Start," "All Programs," "System Tools" and then "System Restore." Click "Next."

Select the last working restore point from the options. Click "Next."
Click "Finish" to run System Restore and recover the Acer Aspire One to a previous state.

Mouse frozen on acer laptop and no working ports to use usb mouse???

Not sure if this has been solved for you, but this is what I would do,try to start the computer in safe mode, don this by hitting the F8 key just after the initial start up, choose with networking to enable internet connection and see if the mouse pad works, if it does work you have conflicting programmes that are stopping the mouse and usb ports from working, download from acer the appropriate driver for the operating system you are using and install.
I have provided a link to the Acer site for you below, here you can choose the operating system you are using and approriate drivers for your lap top, alternatively if the problem persists you could do a complete restore, info on how to do this is on the Acer web page

I do hope this helps. cheers

I have acer aspire 5600, mouse and keyboard frozen in windows but works in bios and in safe mode,i have done many alternatives like install other windows xp versions and connected usb mouse but failed in...

Your laptop will need a new motherboard, or you should repair the one you have. You'll have to do a reflow of the FSB chip. This is an unfortunate and common problems lately. Not to play the blame game, the rapid growth of laptop demand and constant decline of prices inevitably led us to this situation of having poor quality control. So, don't blame anyone, that's just the way things are nowadays. :)

Acer Aspire 5100 Notebook Boots to Windows, but nothing works. No keyboard, no mouse, no usb or CD, no external monitor. I have an Aspire 5100 Acer Laptop that has no keyboard or mouse function period...

Try booting your computer from CD ROM with the OS CD/DVD already inserted and when prompted just try repair. If that does not work re-install the same on the same 'partition' assuming it to be C by deleting the the windows system files only. While doing so keep the internet on and immediately after the basic version of the OS is installed and the m/c boots-up for the first time, go to the official website and download the latest drivers for every component like toch-pad, keypad, display, audio, etc.(i.e. almost all the drivers)
