Question about GE RP4842 Clock Radio

Alarm I don't have the instruction manual for this radio.Intermittently the alarm goes off - and I simply want to know, how to disable (have it in non alarm mode). The radio works fine, it is just the alarm going off, when I don't want it to. There is a "set" panel on the top/side, with a four positon slide switch - key icon;time;wake1;wake2. There are also wake1 button;wake2 button;cancel button in another cluster on the top. I would appreciate info on how to set the alarm, so it doesn't go off. Thanks.

While on key push cancel (alarm dots blink) then push wake 1 or wake 2 (which ever one you pushed the light for it should disappear)

I have a Timex T311 clock radio. How do I shut off alarm and radio everyday. As I no longer need to wake in the am.

On the Timex T311, to disable the radio alarm, press the Radio Alarm button once. The Radio Alarm Indicator light should go out and the radio alarm won't sound. If you press the Radio Alarm button once more, the radio alarm will toggle to on and that indicator light will come on. Similarly, press the Buzzer Alarm button once to enable the buzzer alarm and press it again to disable the alarm.

See page 9 of the manual to see the directions to toggle these alarms on and off. The manual is available from Timex Audio on the product page: https://timexaudio.com/support/product/T311/ . The direct link to the manual is https://timexaudio.com/media/uploads/product/files/T311IB57574_35.pdf .

I hope this helps.

My alarm goes off intermittently

Try resetting the alarm, using the instructions given at the link below. I'll also copy the text here.

  1. Insert the ignition/door key in the door lock on the driver's- side door of your Mountaineer.
  2. Turn the key to the lock position.
  3. Turn your key to the unlock position.
  4. Turn your key to the lock position.
  5. Turn your key to the unlock position. Your alarm is now disabled. If your key fob works, you can also press the unlock or alarm-disable button on the fob.
  6. Start the Mountaineer's engine and allow the vehicle to run for at least 10 minutes. This will allow the alarm to relearn the default settings. You must make sure that you have disabled the alarm first, however, before you attempt to start the vehicle, so that the alarm will reset itself.

If these instructions don't work, you can try resetting the car's computer by unplugging the battery for half an hour. However, that will reset the keyless entry code, as you can see in the fixya article I link to at the bottom

How to turn off alarm on GE radio Model 7-4853c

The manual says to "DISABLE THE ALARM PERMANENTLY" you should:

"Press and hold WAKE 1 or WAKE 2 until the green indicator disappears."

I did this and the light indicator to the right of the clock digital readout went out after a few seconds. I won't know until tomorrow if the alarm is permanently disabled.

How do I disable the alarm on Bose AWR1-1W? Thanks

Hello
To cancell the alarm mode is described in it user manual [page 21]. It is very difficult to type thos symbols here by this window. Just follow the manual. It says, press alarm mode button either on its control panel or on the remote control until the display shows 'no alarm mode' indications. If you don't have the manual send your email address to me by FixYa. I'll send a copy of it to you by return mail. OK.
