Question about Precor Exercise & Fitness
Treadmill started getting belt errors a couple of days ago. Everything I read online said it was friction of the belt and deck. Flipped the deck today and started the treadmill. I was checking the belt alignment at approx 7 mph when the treadmill stopped. Now every time I try to start it I get the belt error. I removed the drive belt from the motor and reset the error codes (20,22). Still get errors. I can see 150VDC for a couple of secs when I disconnect the motor lead and measure it. Please tell me the motor isn't fried...

However LUBE inmediately the deck belt, this happen because the lack of maintenance by 5 hours aprox, So the system protect itself for electronic system and shut down.
2) LUBE the rollers bearing too.
3) Test the main motor bearint, measure the input voltage motor, if there are the motor is faulty. Repair. see my personal TIPS

Unplug your unit, then remove motor shroud have a good light the sensor is either mounted on the frame by the front roller/pulley unit or it is mount on the motor sometimes by the flywheel sometimes on the opposite end. Next step is to locate the motor control board and plug you uit in. Your board should ligt up with red ,green, or amber L E Ds now manually move the running belt and you should see one of those lights flicker or not if it does then the sensor is working , then we other issues, if not either we have a defective or misalign sensor. An if your unit needs lubrication use a synthetic silcone product.

I will advice you try re-calibrate your treadmill, follow the procedure below to re-calibrate it,
Step 1 Stand on the side rails of the treadmill for safety purposes. Remove the safety key. Step 2 Press and hold the two incline buttons. The incline buttons are blue and on the left side of the display. Hold the up and down button simultaneously. Release the buttons when the display reads "Calibration."
Step 3 Press the green start button located either above or below the large, red stop button (depending on your model). Stay on the side rails as the treadmill belt begins to move. Both the speed and incline should go through their full range from lowest to highest, and then back down again.
Step 4 Repeat the process if the display does not read "Calibration Successful." Contact the business where you purchased your treadmill if repeating the calibration process does not result in a successful calibration.
