I need help . I have a Sony Bravia KDL 40V2500 LCD TV , Sony DAV-HDX 466 Home Theatre system , a Pioneer HDD DVD Recorder DVR-450H , A Bell expressvu 6100 satellite receiver and a Sony PS3 . How do I get all of this hooked up so as to receive the best Hi-def from the Satellite , PS3 and all the sounds associated with the HDMI ? Thanks in advance . I have tried wirewize , but their systems and generics do not match the actual connections in the backs of each component .

I reccomend a Denon AVR-2809. It had 4 HDMI inputs, all 1.3a and higher, and one HDMI out for your TV!

If you get your TV programming froma Cabel or Sat Box, run the audio directly from it to the DAV. There is never a compelling reason to pass audio through a TV on its way to audio gear.

I bought a new Magnavox LCD HD TV and need an audio system

Their not showin it on this site, but go directly to the Sony site and look up the Sony Bravia DAV-HDX 285 system. Its an awesome inexpensive system (compare to other systems). Features everything you need including the reciever and 5 wireless speakers and 1 wireles woofer. I love the wireless stuff because your not trying to hide wires, it looks nice, and its easy to install. Hope this helps.

Trouble hooking up sony components..Bravia, Home theatre, blu-ray

Got your post, I will work with the model #s. Get back with you soon. Also a tip for now: HDMI carries true digital video and audio so you may not need the optic cables.

Problems with hearing sound from bravia LCD tv through bravia DAV-HDX275 theatre system

The fiber optic port on back on your bravia tv is only for when your using a over the air antenna and watching local atsc channels in your local market. You need to run the fiber optic from your hd cablebox if it has one or your hd sat box if it has one. If you don't have a set top box with the fiberoptic port on it you can use a digital coax cable from the cable or sat box to sound system. The only other way to get sound if you don't have a cable or sat box is to run the red and white rca audio cable from the tv to the sound system and got to the audio setup on tv and turn the tv speakers off and you might have to adjust the audio to fixed instead of variable.
