ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTER
If your photos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

Easiest way...forget the cord. Use a card reader to download your pictures to a folder you create on your desktop.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

There are also plenty of photo catalog software packages out there, some free, some not, that can transfer and catalog your pictures so you can quickly find pictures from Susie's birthday party, for example. Just do a google search for "photo catalog software".

You cannot upload a video from Facebook to YouTube.

You must upload the video to YouTube by clicking the "Upload" button in your YouTube account's homepage, then Browse to where the video file resides on your computer and select it to be uploaded.

Cant uploard video

Need more details, but without them I will say I found that uploading videos to Facebook takes patience. Try to save the video in as small a file size as you can from your video-processing program, and especially if that isn't very small, just be patient while it is uploading. It will show up eventually. I even uploaded a short video I had saved in HD and it was there after I waited quite awhile.

I can not upload videos !!!!!!

Try these 5 steps:

1. Before you even try to upload a video to Facebook, save it to your PC with a common name, something that's easy to remember, and not a bunch of random digits. you'll save yourself time in the next step. Facebook supports the typical video formats - mov (Quicktime), avi, wmv (Windows Media) - and many, many more.
2. Sign in to your Facebook. At the top of the page, click "Profile" to get to your unique wall. Then click on the tab "Video." If you don't see a video, tab, click the plus sign (+) and then add "video."
3. Click on "+ Upload." The uploaded videos can be accessed here, just like a video photo album.

4. Click "Browse" and locate file on your computer (because of the name, you should easily find it.) After you find it, select it, and click "open." The upload will begin shortly.
5. It may take some minutes to fully upload and be viewable to others. There is a box you can check that will inform Facebook to let you know when the video is ready to be viewed. While you're waiting for the video to upload to Facebook, you can enter information about the video, like the title and any comments you may have. When it's finished uploading, it'll be on your wall and the home page for all of your friends to see (and friends of friends if your privacy settings allow.)

Hope you will get rid of your problem. Thank You and ALL THE BEST!!!

I don't know how to sumbit a video on you tube

Instructions for uploading a video to YouTubeTo get started, the first thing you should do is click on the "Upload Videos" icon in the upper right corner of the YouTube home page:

Click on 'Upload Videos'

Login if you already have an account. If you don't, you'll need to complete and submit the sign-up form to create one:

Create your YouTube account

Describe your video
Once you've registered, you'll be able to begin the two-step video upload process. First, you'll need to provide some information about the video you're uploading:
308d.gif
Provide information about your video
space.gif
You'll want to include relevant keywords in your title, description and "tags" that people will use when searching YouTube for video content. For example, if you're uploading a video snare drum lesson, be sure to include potential search words such as "drums, lessons, snare, music," etc.
Keep in mind, that YouTube video pages appear in Google's search results. So it's possible that someone searching for "drum lessons" on Google will stumble upon your video drum lesson on YouTube without actually searching YouTube directly.
Select the appropriate category and language for your video, and press the "Go upload a file" button. The alternative "Use Quick Capture" button would allow you to record a YouTube video instantly via a camera connected to your computer. (We'll go over this option in a future tutorial.)
Public or Private?
On the next page, you'll be able to upload your video file and specify the privacy settings (public or private):
308c.gif
Make your videos private or availabe to the public

If you'd like to only select people you invite to be able to view your videos, choose "Private." Otherwise, if you'd like anyone in the world to be able to view your videos, you should select the "Public" option.
YouTube video requirements and recommendationsYouTube accepts video files from most newer digital cameras, camcorders, and cell phones in either an .AVI, .MOV, or .MPG file format. According to their site, videos saved with the following settings convert and display the best:
  • MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format
  • 320x240 resolution
  • MP3 audio
  • 30 FPS
(Note to WVZ Members: Be sure to review the tutorial on how to get the best results when uploading videos to YouTube.)
There is no limit to the number of videos you can upload, but there is a file size limit of 100MB for "Standard" account members.
Videos can be up to 10 minutes long. If you have a Director's Account, you can upload longer videos. The YouTube Director program is especially for musicians, amateur filmmakers, videobloggers, or professional content producers.
YouTube asks that you not upload "copyrighted, obscene or any other material which violates YouTube's Terms of Use."
Upload your video
To upload your video, press the "Browse" button to locate the video file on your computer and then press the "Upload Video" button:

The amount of time required to upload a video depends upon your internet connection speed and the size of the video you're uploading. It can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours.
According to YouTube, for users with a high-speed broadband internet connection, the upload time is usually in the range of 1-5 minutes per MB (e.g., a 10MB file would take 10-50 minutes to upload).
Once you're video has been uploaded, YouTube will automatically convert it to the Flash video FLV format for use in the YouTube FLV player. This usually takes just a few minutes. Your video should be live shortly thereafter.

Plug the USB data cable into the and connect the opposite end into one of the USB ports on your computer. The computer states it has detected a new device.

Launch the Sony Media Manager program (either double-click the desktop icon or select "Start," "All Programs" and finally "Sony Media Manager"). The program automatically detects the device.

Select the "Videos" tab, and then click-and-drag a video file into the open window from your computer. The video file location on the computer may vary, depending on where you saved the content to.

Wait for the video files to upload to the (the video files automatically begin uploading to the device once you drag the file into the open program window). Do not disconnect the device from the computer while the upload is being performed. If you do, you may corrupt the device. Once the upload has finished, you may close out the program and disconnect the MP3 player from your computer.
