Thermal transfer machine will not shut down after stencil is made.

This machine is the replica of the 3M Thermal Transfer Machine presently available from Technical Tattoo Supply; it is practically identical to the 3M model in all aspects. I should further add that the light goes off once the stencil has been made, it is the fan that fails to shut off regardless of how hot or cool the machine actually is at the time. The fan simply continues to run. I have already replaced the 2 black switches that appear to control the fan/light adjustments, but that changed nothing as the fan simpy continues to run. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!l

SOURCE: Compressor starts and doesn't stop

Relay for the compressor may be stuck ( Contacts welded) both the fan and the compressor should operate at the same time. Have the relay(s) checked and possibly replaced.

SOURCE: thermofax machine repair

Not really sure what you are asking? Is it a thermofax that is making noise that you use to make transparency with. Or is it transparency making? I never worked on a transparency maker in 20 years of office machine repair... What is it? Is a old machine? If it is that old it may be time to replace it....

SOURCE: I have a 01' New Beetle my cooling fans come on

I finally fixed the problem. It wasn't the Water pump, or the Fan switch or the Green Temp Switch or the Fan Control Module but the "BLACK" NOT White, 2 Pin Thermal Switch 112c" It does sit in between 3 collant hoses where the upper radiator hose comes together with 2 smaller hoses. Kinda looks like a peace sign and in the center sits the 2 Pin Thermal Switch. It's not a AC Cut off switch which even the dealer tried to sell me and which I actually ordered from ECS tuning. The AC Cut out switch is "White" and even thou looks the same in size and form will not fix the issue. I was able to read the part number off the old switch which is 357919369F which when I looked it up on the ECS tuning web site did bring me to the right switch. Black with a green stripe on the top rim. I ordered that baby and it came in yesterday. Took the White switch out and put the Black switch in and guess what the fans no longer turn on when the ignition is in position 2 and now the fans come on when they are suppose to and don't sound like a jet engines afterburner. Simple 20 dollar part solved the problem. I think a lot of people are getting the wrong part from the dealer since this part is very hard to find. Everyone I asked wanted to give me that white sensor AC cut out switch but that isn't it. Here is the link to the correct switch hopefully it will help someone avoid a bit of frustration. http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/357919369F/ES248948/

When trying to use your Brother machine you get the message "Unable to _____". The blank may be the word Change, Print, Scan or Clean and these words may vary from model to model.
This message is a general message and will appear for different reasons. It often indicates a paper jam or a mechanical issue. Complete the following to determine the possible issue.

  1. Check for foreign objects, such as a clip or ripped paper, inside the machine.
Open the top cover and remove any foreign obstacles from inside the fax machine. If you see jammed paper or another item inside this area, gently pull it out and then close the top cover securely.
  1. If the error continues to appear, the machine may have a mechanical problem.
If the error message continues to appear, the machine will need to be reset. Resetting the machine will erase all faxes in memory and the Fax Journal Report. 4. Press the up or down navigation key until FAX TRANSFER appears on the LCD. Then press Menu/Set.
  5. If there are no faxes saved in memory, NO DATA will appear on the LCD. Continue to Step 3.

If faxes are present, the LCD will prompt you to enter a fax number. Enter the number of the fax that you want to receive and print the faxes. Press Fax Start.
Step3: Reset the machine
After the Fax Journal Report and faxes in memory are transferred to another fax machine, disconnect the Brother machine from the power source for several minutes and then reconnect it.

Brady 300 mvp displays "Ribbon in" warning. Whats does this mean?

I've got the same issue. This means the brady machine is configured for direct thermal transfer (no labels in the machine). Press setup, use the - and + buttons to scroll to direct transfer. Again, press select and again use the plus or minus button to select thermal transfer (labels in the machine).
I must say that the setup menu is tricky. If a password is needed, that's another story. Not impossible, but you have to know how to use the label maker, which I don't . I'm unable to remove the flashing errror message.

I have a 3m thermofax 45cg every paper run through is completely

I am a major seller of these machines in ebay. The machine may need a new potentiometer. Build a carrier. Put two pieces of transparency plastic sheets together with a piece of tape and use this to carry your stencils. This will reduce the heat of the lamp. Rouben ([email protected]).
