No songs are showing up on my phone

when you put the songs on your sd card,did you make sure that you drug them to the music folder on the sd card,if you didn't they wont show up..the folder will say music or sounds.

Hilite the song, go to options, and scroll to move and click that, then go to memory card and click that. i have moved all my music to my memory card.

You have to drag and drop only the MP3 files into the music folder. If you have them organized and in folder by artist, drag only the MP3s into the card's Music folder.

i could be that the songs are not formatted correctly

what format is your music in the and what modle of phone do you have. for best resualt make sure you convert them into MP3 or MPA as these are the most comon formats, most formats supported by your PC will not play on your phone, Check out what types of files your phone supports and then convert them to that. Most WMA files will not play as they are encoded with encryption because of the digital media right **** Microsoft now enforce with there latest version of media player.

Hi. Well the problem is that your songs probably aren't recognized as mp3 files. I have a SanDisk micro SD and I downloaded a CD onto on a program such as RealPlayer or Windows Media Player first. Secondly, I dragged the files from there onto my SD. Try this but if this doesn't work then take out your micro SD and format it to your phone. This will end up erasing all that you have on there and possibly require you to do it many times just as I had to do, t eventually mine did work perfectly. I hope this works.

i JUST bought this phone, and got very frustrated trying to download music into the music player. Drag and drop your music files from your pc into your "my music" folder. They DO NOT show up right away, this is why i got pissed. I figured I was doing something wrong. I had the card in my phone, and my phone plugged into the usb port. They finally showed up on my phone after I took the card out and put it back in. As far as saving them for ringtones, I am pretty pissed that I can't do it. I am thinking Metro wants us to pay for them. That is such b&*%$#*!

To find your music on the SD, go to my stuff, sounds, external memory, mp3 and you should see your music. Playing it, however is another matter. You can play only one song. Then you have to manually play the next one. Not what I'd call an MP3 player.
