I don't really know what's going on with it. I've unplugged it from the motherboard, and it'll stay solid green. I was able to run it a few days by plugging it back into the motherboard/pressing the power cord at the same time. now it won't even do that.
Replacing the Power Supply in HP Pavilion p6000 p6 1000 and p6 2000... This is a common power supply that can be purchased just about any computer retailer - BestBuy, MicroCenter, Amazon.
Very cheaply priced, very functional. Even the generic brands.
Hope this help.. have a great day. OH, make sure you at least match the current power supplies WATTs and it's connection.

How about the LC Power LC350M Micro ATX - 380 Watt
or the
Logisys 350W Micro ATX
They should fit your form factor and output as much as 350W being relatively cheap, but neither gets 18 amps on 12V rail...
I think no power supply of that size has an output like that...think about a cheap but substancial chassis upgrade if you need that power...Have a look at directron for the PSUs.

plug your pc directly to your wall outlet and see if it turns on. If it works, then the problem is your power supply. If power supply has a reset button, press it and try again. If pc does not turn on when plugged to wall outlet, then power supply for pc may be out.

Yes - replace the power supply. It is flashing because the regulator is bad or there are bad capacitors in the power supply.
