Try taking off the back covers of the machine, especially the bottom back cover. It may allow you to look into the tray from the back of the machine and allow you to see what is obstructing the tray from being pulled out. Good luck.

Many printers have a paper jam alert. But you need to remove the jam the correct way. You can't just pull the paper from the machine. If you have the manual--look up the proper procedure to un jam the paper. The machine can detect if the paper is stuck and it will not know it is fixed if the proper method isn't used. The system has a mechanism that loosens the rollers to allow the paper to be removed without damaging the wheels.
