The best thing to do wuld be to first, back up all of the stuff on your ipod, and the restore it back to factory setting through itunes. After that, you can put all of your files back on the ipod and it should function normally.
you will need to reset your ipod this will not delete songs.
1 Toggle the Hold switch on and off (slide it to HOLD and then back again).
2 Press and hold Menu and the Center button for at least 6 seconds, until the
Apple logo appears.
If iPod nano won’t turn on or respond
â Make sure the Hold switch isn’t set to HOLD.
â The iPod nano battery might need to be recharged. Connect iPod nano to your
computer or to an Apple USB Power Adapter and let the battery recharge. Look for
the lightning bolt icon on the iPod nano screen to verify that iPod nano is receiving
a charge.
To charge the battery, connect iPod nano to a USB 2.0 port on your computer.
if you are plugging your ipod into the usb port of the kd-g720 it won't play all your songs because this particular radio only plays mp3s through the usb port. ipods play both mp3s and mp4s. so those 49 songs you're hearing are the mp3s on your ipod. in order to play all the songs on your ipod you must buy the cord that plugs in the back of the radio that will connect to your ipod. sorry for the bad news man. i had the same thing happen to me.
If u hold down the center button and the play/pause button at the same time the ipod will restart. Trust me I had the same issue before on my 30GB Ipod Video
You should not plug the ipod to pc while it is playing because it is switches from the playing mode to sync and charging mode you can not play and use the ipod while it is connected with the software without ejecting it from itunes. Do a reset by pressing and holding the center and menu buttons at the same time until the screen goes back and apple logo pops up. This should reset your ipod and fix the problem.
I have seen this many times. Your battery is most likely depleted to the point that it is incapable of sending a signal to the computer. You will more than likely need to have you battery replaced. You can jump start your iPod with a wall charger, but you lost yours. A simple charger can be bought off of eBay for less than ten dollars. If you get a wall charger and nothing happens, your iPod is dead but it sounds like a battery issue.
my ipod wont turn off or nothing i tried downloading music like i always do and my ipod shows that picture of the plug and it says under it "ok to disconnect" it wont turn off or nothing
Try a regular AC wallcharger. You can get one on Ebey for under $10.00 with shipping. I have had similar problems and this seemed to solve it when the battery had completely discharged.
