Question about Jet Tech Systems X-33 - Dishwasher, Undercounter, low temp. chemical "
This unit will take in water and immediately drain it out. Also in the process the chemicals to wash will pump in and will go through all the functions even though there is no water in the machine?

Before you start changing all sort of parts, correct your problem with the wires. You may have to change most of them, depending on how bad the chemical burned tru them.
A good cleaning is required because that soap is going to continue chewing on those wires.
You're right about a short causing other component failure. But first repair those wires
