6 AA Batteries generate how many amps

If this is a battery powered CD player,
we are talking mA not amps.....6 x 1.5volt batteries give you 9 volts
I would recommend something like this:- This will have more than enough power for the CD Player.

I have connected an adapter of 4.5V with Sony Walkman, i am receiving an error "HI DC IN". Let me know the problem.

check the out put voltage of that adapter may be its out put is higher than 4.5V dc.
thats why the Walkman displays HI dc IN. do one thing purchase a 4.5V 1amps SMPS adapter (connector with same polarity). it will give a constant output of 4.5v (110v t0 240v input)

What is the DC external supply voltage for the Kenwood DPC-993?

It's used to power the player from an external power source - adapter, if you don't want to use the battery.

Purchased a car plug for player. message "Hi dc in" comes on scrren and cd will not turn.

I suspect the message means the input voltage is too high to safely run the motor and control circuits. You'll probably need to replace the adapter with a lower-voltage model.

If this car adapter is the manufacturer's own version made for the player, take it back to the store. If the adapter is a generic one, you'll need to find one closer to the player's voltage requirement.

We got a Jensen Audio CD-60 player this past Christmas as a gift. So we do not know when or where it was purchased. The disk in it will not turn as it should and there is no sound.. We are using a Power...

Check inside for packing tape to hold the eye in place during shipping or transit, and remove any tape or plastic tabs for the players protection that may be there. Check the player for a time \ date setting, may need the time \ date set. Try another disk not CD\RW but a store bought CD. Try battery's and see if running it on battery's will straighten it out, Last but not least - BE SURE YOUR POWER ADAPTER IS SET FOR THE PROPER POSITIVE - NEGATIVE POLARITY TO THE PLAYER. Look closely at the plug in on the player for a symbol with a circle and a positive and negative sign and check the adapter to match.
