I have printed 100s of pics over the last few months. Was very satisfied. Prints in iP4200 were perfect. But my last attempt was a disaster- red will not be red but an awful brown. Other colours are ok but any other colour which are nearly red are a big NO. Please help. I tried everything.
Just replace the non genuine inks with proper Canon ones and then do about 4 full cleans, that should fix it. If not you will have to replace the printhead, which is usually caused by using non genuine ink. Good luck

Ok I understand the printer says its full but are you saying your computer says no ink? or that it prints no yellow ink?
Ok assuming you mean that it prints no yellow ink, the culprit ususally means that the print head needs replacing! Call Canon with your model and you can buy the part for new print heads for your printer
I have the same problem. This was a sudden occurrence, where I printed 3 disks perfectly, then the machine went technical and spat out the tray. The only solution I have found is to simply push the tray in about 1cm (½ inch) past the arrows. I have cleaned, reset, downloaded drivers - the whole bit, but I cannot get it to work properly.
